The mere existence of this company is stress-relieving.
They're so good at what they do! Before finding Little Rock, I visited some other printers who sort of looked at me apprehensively after I told them about my project (printing a 24 page book). It was not a good feeling. I'm so glad I visited Little Rock! I felt reassured that this was what I needed as soon as I walked into the open space - a smooth counter in the corner of my eye with glimmering sink appliances; printing paraphernalia stretched before me as far as the confines of the walls. It was beautiful.
Was immediately greeted and directed to meet Brian, the president. There was a computer where I could show him my project, and it was almost like he immediately mentally projected the outcome. He showed me a sample of what he had in mind and I was blown away by how perfect it was! The entire process is so simple and it saved me a lot of time and worry - when I visited other printers, they had me flipping through books and weights of paper, and you don't exactly feel like you're in capable hands when the clerk says "we can try a few different versions first". I'd say the expert eye in printing is necessary to match designers who work digitally, and that also perfectly summarizes my experience at Little Rock. It was convenient (a dropbox upload), fast, and completely worry-free. My books - I ordered 30 copies and received 5 more complementary plus a student discount - came out reaaaally nice (the blacks were black, lettering so sharp it could cut) and I'm definitely coming back here for my next project.
