If I would have written this review after our first time ordering here I would have given it a 5 star review. Our first time we ordered pork and shrimp dumplings, twice cooked pork, and their onion and ginger beef--all of which were absolutely delicious. We liked it so much that we came back a couple of days later and ordered the same thing. Tonight we decided to try something new and quickly discovered that we had made a mistake. We started with the calamari (half off on happy hour) which was chewy, bland and did not come with sauce. Then we had had the salt and pepper chicken wings and they were good, but not amazing. My boyfriend ordered the hot and sour soup which is his favorite; it was a bit weird tasting and not in a good way. I ordered a Thai beef and noodle plate as my entree. We sent it back. The dish had a good flavor profile, but it was very dry--"drier than the Sahara Desert" as my boyfriend put it. All in all, I am super disappointed because we were so excited about this place after our first visit. We will still be back, but we will be sticking to our original order.
On a side note, happy hour from 3-7pm here is a great deal. All drinks and appetizers are half off. I really enjoyed my Flo-Ha cocktail.
