  • A must-visit if you're in Toronto for the first time. It's breathtaking from the bottom, but all the way up is a total treat. The elevator ride up faces the outside, so you're seeing everything through the glass window. This was actually a bit scarier than the glass floor up there! It goes up very quickly though - although no, not like an amusement park ride or anything. You have the option of buying tickets to the lookout, which includes the glass floor, or also adding on the skybox to go all the way up to the tippy top. We opted out of that and just did the lookout and glass floor (most basic package) for $23/each. The view from the lookout is amazing! You can walk all around, taking in a fantastic 360 of Toronto. It's a lot bigger than I'd imagined! We were lucky in that it was a cool, sunny day. When your'e outside, the view is sort of blocked by the "gating" surrounding it, but if you're inside, the view is clear from the window. Definitely take a step on the glass floor! I'm extremely afraid of heights, but I had no problems with this for some reason. It's not as scary as I thought. I even did pushups on it. :) It doesn't really feel that you're on a glass floor because it's just a small window that you can step on, and once you're off, it's just regular flooring. If the entire floor was one piece of glass, then yeah, that'd probably be a bit frightening for those with an aversion to heights. That's what I was thinking it would be. I bet the view at night is awesome, too. But if you want to do the glass floor, I don't think a night trip would let you see much.
