  • Just a quick review to mention that YAY they have Almond Milk. I guess I'm used to crazy Brooklyn coffee shop prices as that didn't bug me-- should I have been? Whoops. Super cute interior with hand drawn cityscapes on the windows and walls that reminded me of being back home in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. As for the coffee. I was so happy to get an Almond Milk Mocha (only hot drinks for me please) but um, it was just okay. I don't know what kind of espresso they use but there wasn't enough of it and enough oomph. It just tasted like a sweet (and not in a chocolately way either) hot beverage that was more almond milk than mocha. Maybe it was just the barista that was on staff-- will be back again for my next comic book store run to give it another chance. Oh, and I got the macaroons. Again, like the coffee drink-- just sweet. Texture was okay, but nothing really wow about them.
