  • Let me start by saying, I wanted this experience to be great. It just wasn't. I got my lunch to go and the employees were all very helpful and welcoming. I ordered a lunch special - bbq pork, cole slaw, macaroni and cheese, hush puppies and a drink. My order was to go and it was ready very quickly. Here is my run down of the food: - the pork: the flavor was okay but I didn't love that the meat was "chopped" so finely that it was pretty much minced. I prefer more of a pulled pork. - cole slaw: weird yellow color and weird taste. Not a fan. - macaroni and cheese: it was this strange hybrid of firm and clumpy. The consistency was just not appealing and the noodles were mushy. On top of that, it was very oily (in fact, you can see in the picture how the oil from it went into the cole slaw) - hush puppies: bland and tasteless - threw them away Despite the great service, the food leaves much to be desired. I threw away most of my food and accepted that I wasted my money that meal. I won't be back.
