  • I love coming to the Carefree resort! My friends and I come every year around August for a little staycation from the Phoenix heat. We always find a great deal and we stay in the suites (not the main hotel area), which is close by the another pool (separate from the main resort pool). The rooms are always so fresh and clean, spacious, lots of storage space (which is needed for 6+ girls), and the bathrooms are also nice and big, plus spread out from the main areas to offer even more privacy and space! Each suite seems to have its own private patio or balcony, and we prefer the ground level facing the pool so we can access from the sliding glass doors. The resort offers a free shuttle to various bars and restaurants which we always take advantage of, and the drivers are so friendly and accommodating! It's a small little pocket of town but some pretty cool places to check out! We also like to just hang out at the suites at night since they are comfortable and inviting. The main hotel area has a bar and restaurant, and the food is pretty good! My only issue would be slow wait service, but then again that's almost anywhere for Sunday morning breakfast ;) The staff that we encounter have always been super friendly, engaging, and welcoming. Even just calling to figure out details, make room requests, etc. they are pleasant to deal with. Customer service is huge to me, as you can probably guess from other reviews, and this place keeps my friends and I coming back. Thank you!
