rev:text	My husband & I have been frequenting New China Gate 1-2 times/week since we moved to AZ. The food is excellent, the portions are well-sized & the service is wonderful. With that being said, the restaurant manager & bartender, Robbie, is why we will go to New China Gate forever. Robbie is the most caring guy you could ever meet & who always makes my husband & I roar with laughter each time we're there. Robbie IS New China Gate. He LOVES people & you can feel it. You meet Robbie once & he remembers your name (everybody's name, literally) forever. He reaches out to you to make you feel so welcome. He is genuinely interested in you as a person & NEVER forgets anything you've shared with him. I read a few negative reviews on here about Robbie & I feel I must speak up. I will say this-Robbie would never ever "make fun" of anyone, or be "inappropriate" to anyone in any manner. The people who wrote those few negative comments about Robbie here DON'T know Robbie & have taken his kind humor & warmth completely out of context. If you can't sit back, relax & enjoy a good laugh, go to a restaurant where it's dead quiet! If you want a truly enjoyable dining experience- excellent food & wonderful company with Robbie welcoming you- go to New China Gate, because you will find a welcoming home away from home between the food & Robbie's warmth, humor & care.
