| - I heard some great things about this place so I put this on my bucket list of places to eat in Vegas. Bacchanal Buffet in Caesar's Palace is in a great location and is filled with beautiful decor, and while I can sing praises about that all day, I can't do the same for the food and service.
Yes, I understand that it gets really busy (I came around 12!) and the place is insanely large, but for $40 a person, I expect, at the very least, for my empty plates to be gone when I come back with another plate. Towards the end, they completely stopped coming around and I sat with a stack of empty plates in the middle of the table for a good 30 minutes until I left. The food was okay, but definitely not "I-would-come-back-and-pay-$40-a-person-to-eat-here-again" worthy. All of the seafood tasted like it was taken straight out of the freezer and then served.
I would definitely recommend that you save your money, but if you really decide to come here, take advantage of their bottomless soft drinks and then explore Caesar's Palace afterwards!
