Somehow I thought the Secret Garden would feel a bit more, well, secret.
I somehow wished that while entering through the gates and walking down the path, I would be magically teleported to a beautiful tropical place where I could watch the dolphins and big cats in a more natural element. But, the truth is I was in the middle of the Las Vegas strip, tucked away in a corner of a casino and instead of being transported to a serene tropical setting and hearing the roar of the big cats or the splash of the dolphins my ears still picked up on the honking cars and traffic just a few short steps down. I could even swear I heard a slot machine. Maybe I have mouse ears or something.
The experience was uninspiring but definitely a nice change from the sensory overload from the casino. For $15 it's a bit of a disappointment when you can watch the big cats for free inside but a nice place to put around in as long as there's not too many people and strollers there.
