| - Vegas should be called the land of the buffets. You will probably pass 5 more on your way here from your room.
This particular buffet is good. The brunch (which is what we came for) was decent enough. There were lots of breakfast options mixed with a good smattering of lunch dishes. Traditional breakfast things like eggs, french toast, breads, fruit dishes, & oatmeal can be found in abundance. They also had a number of seafood options including crab, sushi, and one other white fish which I thought was particularly unpleasant. There are also plenty of options in terms of desserts. The little tiramisu cups are a favorite. I was happy these seemed to be ubiquitous in Vegas.
The atmosphere is fun. I was particularly happy that this restaurant wasn't outfitted with a superfluous amount of gaudy flourishes or decorations. It was simple and to the point while still fitting with the resort-style feel of Mandalay Bay.
The waitstaff was quite phenomenal. The lady who helped our table was funny, warm, and very amicable. I REALLY liked her. She was, without a doubt, the highlight of our experience here.
For the price, there's plenty of food. If you're a vegetarian though, you're pretty much stuck with eggs, bread, and oatmeal (which I heard was very good, actually). For most, it's a great option if you're staying in the area and don't want to go far.
