| - I was in Vegas this past weekend for a Bachelorette Party. We decided to take a Pole Dancing class since the Bride-to-be had never taken one before (this was my 3rd class as this activity is becoming very popular for Bachelorette parties!)
My cousin made the reservations for 8 girls with no problems. All that was asked of her was an $80 deposit. The cost per girl for the 1 to 1.5 hr class was $50 each, which we paid the day of. As a thank you for booking a class with them, they will put you on the VIP guestlist for one of any of the top clubs in Vegas (Surrender, Tao, Tryst, Haze, Chateau, and the various clubs at the Palms). I believe the day time pool parties were even included in the choices. We asked to be put on the Haze guestlist but never made it out that night!
We had no problems getting to the place. Our taxi driver knew where it was once we told him it was the pole dancing place by the Palms. As we arrived, another Bachelorette party was just leaving. They gave us their rave reviews of the class! Once we were fully paid, we were handed some forms to fill out. We didn't have to wait very long before our instructor, Doneshia was ready for us.
We were led to a private room which had lots of poles (This place in Jersey which was the first place I'd done a class, they only had one pole, and we each had to take turns; this was much better!). All the girls were dressed in comfy clothing: tights or shorts, tank tops, and barefoot. Doneshia took us through a series of warm-up exercises and then started to teach us a pole dancing routine, step-by-step. She was fun and very patient. At the end, we put it all together. Sadly, being my 3rd time taking one of these classes you think I'd be an expert, but I suck! I have no upper body strength or sexiness! lol It's definitely a fun time, but I will never be able to quit my day job! At the very end, Doneshia also performed her own routine on the pole which was my favorite part. She was amazing. I definitely have respect for pole dancers. They do some awesome trick on those things!!
On our way out, they gave the Bachelorette a free "I love Pole Dancing" shirt, offered us cute "I love Pole Dancing" pens and bracelets, and called a taxi service for us.
We had a fun time and more importantly, the bachelorette had a fantastic time!
