  • BEAUTIFUL! This Holiday Inn Express property is amazing. It's clean, quiet, well-furnished, and comfortable for short stays or longer visits. FREE WiFi at fast speeds and a fully stocked breakfast buffet in the morning will definitely make me come back next time I'm in Calgary. Microwave and fridge are also great additions! NOTE. For security reasons, I don't carry a credit card. Putting a cash deposit on a room has never been an issue at any IHG brand hotels. (And I spend quite a bit of time in hotels!) But the front desk agent at check-in put up a fight. (She actually called the office of my company's CFO beacuse his credit card paid for the room... luckily it was after business hours!) At check-out, another front desk agent charged me a second deposit instead of a refund. Everything worked out... but it was a bit of a hassle.
