| - In spite of the multitude of options for dinner, we chose to visit the Wandering Horse Buffet this evening.
We have eaten here plenty of times, but mostly during weeknights. Not that the menu has changed significantly, nor has the selection been any less spectacular than before. Most certainly, the dessert menu is still quite plentiful.
Notable traits regarding our dining experience this evening: Faye, our server, was just a bundle of joy and we thoroughly enjoyed conversing with her more than we really enjoyed our food. The salad vinaigrette, and the chops were also notable.
The salmon needed more seasoning, the soups were both in auspicious, and the carpet needed a little bit more attention. I can understand minute particles lingering on the floor, but large pieces of chopstick and straw wrappers staying on the floor for one's entire stay doesn't bode well for the attentiveness to cleanliness of this establishment. It certainly detracts from the atmosphere that they are trying to portray.
It wasn't a bad experience, but it wasn't stupendous either - nothing that truly differentiates them, aside from the aforementioned qualities.
