I travel all over the country for work but this is one stay I will not forget. There was a country music concert on my first night's stay. The room next to me had about 10 drunk screaming guys/gals in cowboy hats. That started around 3pm (many hours before the concert). I knew the evening would be even more interesting so I called the front desk and told them the situation. Security came up and BROUGHT THE PEOPLE OVER TO MY ROOM to "discuss it". You can imagine how that conversation went with a guy too drunk to walk. Security then said "You picked the worst night of the year to stay here". What??? When they returned from the concert the noise was so loud I could not hear my television but thankfully only lasted from midnight until 2 am.
They also have some faulty alarms or something in the room. On the third day, the room on the other side of me starting emitting a high pitched smoke alarm sound. I called the front desk and FIFTEEN minutes later they sent someone to turn it off. My ears rang for another two hours.
To amplify this problem, all of the rooms have hardwood flooring and the walls are paper thin. If you are looking for privacy or quiet, steer clear.
Lastly, I had to have BOTH of my room keys reprogrammed every day. Nothing is more frustrating to get up to the 9th floor and then return to the lobby daily. It got so bad that after returning from work each day I went straight to the front desk and asked them to reprogram them before getting on the elevator.
Oh - and would it kill someone to leave more than one roll of toilet paper?
