| - I enjoy staying at Sheratons around the world, but that also means I have fairly high expectations of them. This was a good hotel, but with disappointing internet access, which brought down my rating.
The rooms are clean and nice, with flatscreen television, updated bathrooms and plenty of space. The lobby is beautiful, and the bar is large and friendly. There's also a Starbucks in the lobby, and an entrance to a mall directly from the hotel lobby. The location is very central, essentially at the heart of downtown at Queen and Bay Streets.
Unfortunately, the internet access is very spotty. The rooms only have wired internet (free for standard access, $9/day for higher bandwidth). The wire is also very short, and only accessible from the desk. This means laptop or tablet usage in bed is impossible. The free version isn't terribly fast. The lobby wifi is very spotty. It's theoretically free (if you're a hotel guest), but didn't work from a meeting room I was in. Despite being a hotel guest, it wouldn't let me access. Very frustrating!
Overall, I would recommend this hotel, but they could use some work on the internet access...
