  • I cannot say enough good things about South End Vet! I recently moved out of the country and need to go through a long and detailed process to get my cat ready. Sien at the front desk was extremely helpful and I could not have done it without her. She was always available for questions and was speedy with her replies. Every staff worker is so friendly and you can tell they LOVE what they do! They really are invested in your pet and treat them as if they were their own. Dr. Maples is very knowledgeable, skilled and personable. I always felt like my cat, Cooper, was in good hands. Long story short, I need to do an adult declaw and was very apprehensive about it. Dr. Maples and I discussed the pros and cons. The surgery was done with a laser and my cat was running and jumping and playing the very next day (despite my efforts to try and get him to take it easy!) and didn't need further pain meds. It's been almost two years and he has never experienced a problem. If you are considering a new vet, I highly recommend you go here!
