  • Just came back from 2 nights at the hotel. Just to let you know it usually is the 3 star hotel on Priceline. I bid $55 a night and paid $110 for 2 nights at the hotel (just went to Pittsburgh for a quick interview as cheap as possible). I think the price direct from the hotel is $99 a night which I couldn't afford so thank you Priceline. I agree with so many of the comments people here left. The heater and air conditioning is right next to the bed and so fricken noisy. I thought the mattress was super hard too, and I had a hard time getting a good night's sleep on it, but keep in mind I like really soft mattresses. The room however is large, and has somewhat of a kitchen. WIFI is included too which is a huge plus. The breakfast was very, very continental. I thought there would at least be eggs, but you have to pay for eggs. They had cereal, juice, tea, coffee, bread, and fruit. I need to save $$ so I just put up with that for breakfast. I did not rent a car or take a cab for my stay again since I need to save $$. The hotel has a free shuttle though that will take you to wherever you need to go within 5 miles of the hotel. I used this to go to the Marriot for my interview and this saved me some money. The driver was a really friendly old man. I felt bad because he kept talking into me when I was in a rush so I ended up just saying bye and opened the door and took off. They have a separate airport shuttle which is fine too since it is included. They have an indoor pool which was really warm. Wish I brought a bathing suit. Didn't make access of the gym, but they have a small one with a few cardio machines. All the workers here were friendly and the guests were friendly too. The people in Pittsburgh were really nice. Too bad I would never go back because I can't live in that weather!! The best thing about the hotel is that you are walking distance from a great sub. shop, a movie theatre, and a few restaurants that got good reviews on Yelp. You definitely won't need to rent a car if you strictly just need to be within 5 miles of the hotel. This Californian walked in 30 degree weather in the snow just to get a sandwich! I was hoping Southwest would have bumped me yesterday just so I could bid again on Priceline and try a different restaurant nearby LOL. Great price courtesy of Priceline for a nice, clean, hotel with many amenities.
