| - We've visited Bronze Cafe a few times after a good workout. We love the vegan items on the menu. We had the Tree of Life Salad, chocolate and fig smoothie (it was a little too sweet for my taste), banana bread (delicious), The Bizness and a few veggie drinks for the kids. The staff has always been consistently gracious and helpful. The wait time was not too long (during lunch rush hour), and we were able to grab a few tables located within the center. The prices are comparable to the prices for vegan food in my hometown of "San Francisco", so don't be shocked with the overall tab. I guess one could never place a price tag on good, healthy food. Also, the order counter and register checkout placement is a bit oddly configured (goes from left to right - and you have to maneuver around small tables to get to the counter to order). Regardless, I'm a fan, and I love the addition to the LGBT center.
Tip(s): 1. The smoothies can be rather large in size, so we asked someone on staff if we can split the chocolate and fig into two portions, and they gladly accommodated our request. However, this can't be done with all smoothies - not sure why, but do inquire ahead of time, 2. The cafe is located within The LGBT Center, so be sure to look out for the exterior sign which can easily be missed on a 1-way street, 3. They have a points / rewards program - just ask.
