New Year's Eve is not the best time to try a new restaurant. We had a reservation but were seated in what appeared to be an overflow room. It was freezing out there and most ladies put their coats or wraps back on. One other table insisted on being moved it was so cold. Though many people seated elsewhere complained and were visibly cold nothing was done about the temperature, we all shivered through dinner. Drinks were good, husband had a wonderful Whisky Sour, my Blueberry Drop was a little overly sweet but good. Husband and I had the special NYE menu, filet was bland lobster was OK. Our son had a wonderfully cooked New York Strip which we all wished we had ordered. Service was OK but nothing special. Seemed some of the wait staff were new and did not know which tables they were serving. Cheesecake was wonderful. In the end not the experience of Ruth's Chris or Morton's. Wanted to love it and may give one more shot on not such a busy night.
