| - I stayed here with two others to ride out the week following my spine surgery at the Cleveland Clinic, I had also been here one year prior on consultation, and each and every encounter I had with an employee, every cleaning and service offered, all the amenities, shuttle services, meals, etc. were nothing short of fantastic.
The week following my surgery was difficult, but hotel employees helped to carry anything and everything possible, offered handicap and valet access, and even brought an additional large lovely fireplace space heater to my room, as the bitter cold in the first week of January was doing my healing muscles no favors. There was a shuttle service to the hospital several times an hour from very early morning to late in the evening.
The restaurant and bar on the first floor of the hotel is nothing spectacular, but it is consistent, accessible, and decent, if a bit overpriced.
For an individual looking to stay here after a procedure at one of the nearby healthcare facilities, what I found I like about the Tudor Arms above other local hotels was the showers. It seems like a silly thing, but the low step in to the shower, rainfall head, or alternative detachable head were exceptionally helpful in making things easier in the first and worst days post op.
