By far the worst gym I've ever went to. My friend and I were going to inquire about prices since she was already a member at good life and one of our other friends recommended this place. We went to the front desk to ask for help and the two guys there were "busy" so we waited for 10 minutes for them to find someone from the back. They sat us down at their desk and kept asking why we wantef to come here. They said they did not offer free trials to the gym (even though on their website it said they do.. But apparently only in "the states"). The sales person kept saying "we're not like your ordinary gyms offering people 3-7 day trials." The guy trying to sell us the monthly package also made a crude joke about how I didn't look like I worked out. His exact words were " you don't look like you go to the gym, once a month maybe?" Which I took offense. I'm not "fit" but I'm not "fat". So I have no clue what forced him to say that. He also made some dumb comments on my friend as well. When we told him I have better access to my school gym (the new pan am gym at UTSC) he made a comment about how it is probably bad and my friend said she was with good life , he kept insisting that those gyms are "poor quality" and how their gym is for people who really wanted to work out. Overall the customer service sucks. The equipment is nice and new but the staff there are very rude and snobby. My friend and I decided to do a one day pass just to try the equipment.. But after this experience I'll stick to my school gym.
Some good things about this place is that the equipment is very new and there is plenty of space. There are specific rooms for classes and they even offer a women's only section. The locker rooms are extremely well designed with tall wooden lockers. They also have a hot tub and sauna in the locker rooms.
