  • As a dealer I've used a lot of transport companies and this is hands down the worst I have used in the past three years. I used them simply because I was in a hurry to get a vehicle from Houston to Dallas (roughly 300 miles) as quick as possible without having to call a broker. It was originally scheduled to be dropped off the 28th, then the 30th, and now the 1st. All this with ZERO communication between the company and myself. I was trying to stay home all day on the 30th to anticipate the drop off because I have no contact with the actual carrier only to find out at 10pm they changed the date to the 1st. IF it even arrives tomorrow it will have taken them EIGHT DAYS to transport a vehicle 280 miles for me. Absolute last time I use RAT for there abysmal over priced service, extremely incorrect timeline, and absolute lack of communication. All in all, this is exactly what I would expect from another COX Automotive company, they are just the worst. It is unfortunate they have a vice grip on the wholesale market from Manheim to OVE to NextGear to KBB and of course Ready Auto Transport. I will go out of my way to stay away from all of their companies.
