  • Walking into this place for the first time, I thought to myself: Wow, this is nothing like the one in Scottsdale. The restaurant was new and clean with good a/c. And the bar area looked like someplace I would actually want to hang out. Later, thru more experience, I realized that there are actually a lot of similarities. Same bad service, which ranges from snobby to forgetful and nonexistent. Same mediocre boring bar food. Same overpriced drinks. The only thing I really like about Majerle's is that they have good music and they show music videos on a couple of the TVs. That gives those of us who are not sports fanatics something to look at and also ups the overall coolness factor of the place. This location does have that as well but it is completely offset by the fact that there are usually a bunch of kids around. I know we are in the suburbs and close to the mall but when did it become OK to bring a baby to a bar. Seriously? I wish they would repeal the smoking ban just so that us dinks would have someplace to go where we could enjoy happy hour without screaming kids running around.
