  • Inconsistent at best! I've had really good experiences here and really bad ones. Food: it's ok depending on what you get. I've had amazing chicken in the bier cheese chicken but way over cooked when getting the bourbon chicken. Atmosphere: exactly what you'd expect. A traditional German style beer hall with picnic-style seating and a few booths. Your best bet would be the upstairs balcony...NOT the downstairs gravel lot. I like when they have live ethnic music. Service: not great, not bad. I feel bad that hey have to wear the cheesy get-ups. Overall: a little overpriced and touristy, but a definite must-visit when in the burgh, however, if you live here, it's probably not your first choice. Ps. They have a little gift shop by the entrance/exit...again, a bit overpriced, but you can find some cool stuff.
