  • After some significant issues with Surprise MVD, I made the drive to this location. Surprise MVD refused to issue me Arizona registration because my Ohio vehicle was not listed in the NADA Guide. Ridiculous, right?! Fed up and tired of wasting my time, I drove to Scottsdale. The Scottsdale MVD office had changed the way they do things a bit. You still check in at the front desk, but then are given a letter to stand in a different line depending on your task at hand. There are no big waiting areas anymore and the lines seemed to go rather quickly. I was called after about 15 minutes of waiting. "Barbara B" helped me, after hearing my story, and worked through the hang-ups Surprise MVD could not get past. She had me out of the building in 20 minutes with my Arizona registration. Barbara was amazing and extremely knowledgeable. Needless to say, I would recommend the Scottsdale location over the others.
