| - Please, please, please, read the reviews on this place and book somewhere else! I spent four nights here while we were in town for a volleyball tournament. We checked in on a Wednesday afternoon and were told that the electronic key card machine was down and we'd have to be escorted to our room...ok, things happen I'm a reasonable person. When we entered our room the smell of disinfectant was overwhelming! The room was incredibly small, the carpet was covered in stains and the curtains were dirty and stained as well. The room has sleep number beds that are completely broken so there is no adjusting them. The ice machine was broken and just for fun...the #1 on the microwave was also not working. Here is my major issue with this place. The original problem with the key cards didn't get fixed until Friday afternoon (I'd been there since Wednesday). This meant that every time I needed to access a room that I had paid for I needed to get permission. Also, there was a different person letting you into your room each time and no one was insuring that that was, in fact, your room. All you had to do is stand in the lobby, give a room number and they'd let you in. As I was here alone with my 13 year old daughter I saw this as a great security risk. Anyone could have accessed my room at anytime.
I am not a picky person and because of my daughter's travel volleyball league I have seen many hotel rooms. Some are great, some are rough, but the lack of regard for customer safety in this one was the worst. Never again!
