We decided on Golden Corral for Easter this year as there were only 3 of us and it made more sense financially. We've been here in the past on holidays and have always had a pleasant experience. Today we showed up around 1pm and walked into disorganized chaos! The line wasn't too crazy, but there were people coming in from every direction and blocking the walk ways for other patrons who were trying to leave. After about 20 minutes of standing in line, the manager came out and started yelling directions at patrons who were already crowded in the lobby to "form one line." Many of which, I'm sure, didn't budge because they didn't want to lose their place in line. The way she was shouting, no one was listening to her. Based on the fact that it was a holiday, perhaps she should've figured out a game plan BEFORE people started showing up as they've done in the past. This manager was no better when we were waiting for a table either. As the hostess was taking us to our booth, she pushed through and told her that we couldn't sit there because she was accommodating someone else. 5 minutes later, the manager let us sit there anyway. No one looked happy except for the woman getting drinks when you come in and the gentlemen cooking the steaks--which were tender and flavored well! After today, we may have to rethink where we go on our next holiday outing as we about lost our appetite before getting to our table thanks to the poor attitude of your manager on duty today. It takes a good leader to run a team, but she is not the type of leader I would want for myself.
