I just got back from one of my best steak dinners ever. When I arrived, I was seated on a great table close to the bar where I can sit on one of their cool leather chairs and watch the NFL Draft at the same time.
The decor is totally awesome, a cross between the Capital Grille and Craftsteak. It is furnished like an old school steakhouse with deep rich cherry woods and leather chairs but with beautiful trendy stained glass ceilings and low mood lighting....very sexy.
I love this type of steakhouse....truly a Frank Sinatra hangout with Suits, Steaks, Whiskey and Cigars.
My meal began with their delicious warm sourdough bread and their incredible lobster bisque. The bisque was super creamy and spicy....one of the best that I have ever had.
For dinner, I ordered a bone-in rib eye steak and a side of sea salt fries.
The steak was super tender and juicy with the right amount of marbling.
The fries was a perfect side with the great steak.
For desert, I had their famous croissant bread pudding with ice cream and a toffee
stick.....super sweet and good.
Vic and Anthony's is one of the best steak houses that I have been to in the U.S.
The decor and ambience is sexy and romantic.......the service is outstanding. I felt like a celebrity......the hostess and waitress made me feel as if i was the only customer in the restauarnt. The Mgr. came by my table a couple of times to check on me and when I left, they comped my desert and gave me a complimentary glass of cabernet franc to finish my meal.
I came in my pants twice.......it was that good. No sex needed for a week....I am so satisfied!
I can see why they are a Michelin rated steakhouse and was voted as one of top 10 steakhouses in the country.
I wish there was a V@A in California and NY!
