| - And so we come full circle. Over a year and a half ago, I checked these kicks out via an entirely different website from the one I am currently typing on, and it behooves me to leave my experience to pass on the future torch of residency at Avenue 25.
First off, to put things in perspective, I didn't do the following before moving in: visit the residence, meet with any of the proprietors, nor did I take the time to find pictures that didn't look like they were shot on an old and out of use 1975 Kodak Camera.
It was a gamble; a complete toss up whether or not this would work out. It did. Your neighbors are kind, the apartments are spacious, and the amenities are always up to standard. Furthermore, considering I moved across the continental United States, the process to move-in was without any hassles. Seriously, put this into perspective. McDonalds can get your order wrong and you are literally a few feet away from the person taking your order. I mean it's a Big Mac with a large fry, how in the world are you giving me McNuggets? I'll still eat them though.
There were a few hiccups here and there: I had to call maintenance quite a few times to fix things; sometimes the smell from another apartment cooking what seemed like the complete carcass of a moose would waft into my apartment, but I don't really believe that's the fault of the complex. And if you live above a garage - like I did - you will hear the garage doors opening in your apartment.
Despite all of this, it was a wonderful experience. Each call I made to maintenance was done within a day, honestly sometimes within hours. When my air conditioning went out, they brought a air conditioning unit that was apparently designed and operated by Shackleton. I swear it transported the polar ice caps to my apartment while they fixed my unit. Additionally, the staff inside was always courteous. Each problem and issue, even during move out was handled with aplomb. If I could, I would take them out to some beers.
Shout out to them because they do phenomenal work that isn't always recognized.
It was a great experience. I will miss Avenue 25 and the staff. I hope future complexes can be similar to the time I had here. Peace.
