| - This is my first review of anything as I am a person who just never has the time, but Shenker Academy absolutely deserves a WONDERFUL and honest review!! With that said this school has been my saving grace in so many ways for so many years now. It was one of the first places I visited when I moved to Vegas. I was a nervous wreck to leave my baby, who was 2, for the first time all day, in a new city that I knew very little about. My son had only been with me since he was born and I had no idea how he was going to react to not only leaving me, but going to a school environment.To my absolute suprise my little man left my arms and had an abolute blast. He was so well taken care of and learned so much. Of course we had the typical tears of being seperated from mom, but they were very short lived and his smile and play returned very quickly. I knew that this was his new home away from home and I had nothing to worry about. This was back in 2012, as he is now 7 and is thriving and doing amazing things. He misses Shenker so much and wishes he could go back. So funny becasue even with me as his current teacher I can never compare to Shenker. My husband and I can never thank the wonderful staff enough for all they have done in contributing to help shape our child into the genuine, kind, smart, honest, loving child he is turning out to be.
Since my first child attended Shenker, the school has gone through some changes of staff and even the look, but I can honestly say that every change has been for all the better. Which is crazy that this place could get any better since they were already soooo good. When my next little man was born there wasn't a question as to where he would go. I remembered being such a wreck with a 2 year old attending Shenker all day, but now I was about to leave a 6 week old in their care full time. I was so nervous because I was a mom leaving my baby, but I was not nervous about the care my new little man was going to recieve. I knew that he would be in the best hands and now almost 2 years later he is doing amazing! I will never be able to truely thank everyone for making not only my children safe, comfortable, and into remarkable little men, but for how they have treated us as a family. I know alot of people say things and don't always have anything to compare their experiences to, but as a school teacher with some extreme high expecations and too much academic knowledge about where children are supposed to be when they come to school I cannot say enough wonderful and amazing things about this school. Thank you Shenker Academy (Ms. Dawn, Dr. Sharon, Ms. Tina, Ms Kim, Ms. Genisis, Ms. Karla, Ms. Borders, Ms. Ninha, Ms. Campbell, Ms. Ana, Ms. Darielle, Ms. Nichelle, Ms. Claudia, and so many more) for treating us like family and helping shape our boys into the wonderful kids they are today!
