We had the luxury of having a beautiful October night to go watch a live band on the patio out at the woodroom. The woodroom has a very small menu but I think that works to its advantage. If you want a sandwich there's only one. You can get some pizzas And appetizers. But because the menu was so small the food comes out very very fast. Even on the night we were there there was a huge wait and a lot of people there.
This is one of those places that it is small but if they expanded it would kind of ruined the charm of the place. The bar takes up about a third of the inside and there are tables along the walls but it is cozy. Normally cozy is a code word for small but this place truly is cozy and warm feeling. The bartenders are very busy but they do an exceptional job of paying attention to each and every customer.
We chose to sit in a covered patio and it is pretty much Self Serve there is no waiter or waitress in this back room but we were totally fine with that. We could still hear the band and the patio was something I wish to build on my own house to look half as good as this place.
Eventually we moved out right in front of the band and it was refreshing to see people dancing laughing and having a great time. We did split a bottle of wine and quite a few drinks but the money spent was well worth the time spent and we will surely be back.
