Busy on a Saturday night at 8:00! Waited a while, then got the text that our table was ready.
One of our Norwegian friends wanted to try some good local beer, so we brought him to San Tan to properly represent Arizona to the world.
We started out with a couple of appetizers - the buttermilk onion rings (yes!) and the hummus plate (also yes!). Ordered a couple of flights of beer so everyone could see what they liked. The seasonal was a pineapple beer (no - just no). Everybody figured out what they wanted, and we ordered food and beers.
I asked our server what her favorites were, and one of the things she recommended was on the 'secret menu' - I think it was called the Hamburgesa or something like that (that's what I get for waiting 4 days to write my review!) It was a very good bacon cheeseburger with chiles. Definitely worth asking about. Service was really good, too!
Everybody had a good time, and our Norwegian contingent agreed that not all American beer sucks! :-)
