The major problem I had was that they didn't give my son the right prescription. I only found this out because of the other problem I had that made me want to switch doctors offices. My son has astigmatism and for the past year & a half my sons glasses didn't have anything in his prescription to help with that.
The reason I switched doctors in the first place was because I had my appointment scheduled for six months in advance and the day before his appointment they called and said I needed a new referral from his primary care dr. There's no way his primary care would have been able to see him in the next couple hrs to have his referral ready for the next morning. So then I would have had to schedule his appointment with Dr Pachtman out another couple months. If they would have told me about the referral when I made the appointment (since they knew it was only valid for a certain amount of time) it wouldn't have been a problem or even letting me know a week or two before his scheduled appointment to get a new referral.
As for the other comments about having to reschedule an appointment at the last minute because the doctor wasn't going to be there. I have had that happen twice with my daughters appointments there.
The staff doesn't do their job very well so I would never recommend anyone to them. My kids are now going to ABC Children's Eye Specialists and I'm very happy with them so far despite the drive to that office.
