We have had MULTIPLE issues with getting prescriptions filled, the latest was they erroneously said a medication wasn't approved by the insurance company so we were charged the entire amount! After some discussion they finally accepted a coupon we had, but we paid nearly $300. We received a letter from the insurance company stating the drug was covered, told Walgreens the med was covered when we called for a refill and requested reimbursement for the overcharge and they basically said, not their problem, they can't reimburse anything over 7 days from being charged. We were, impolitely, informed by Kym, that we should have been able to get the doctor to write a pre-auth letter to the insurance company, send it off to the insurance company and receive their response within 7 days. And since we couldn't do that they couldn't help. And the drug didn't need a pre-auth to begin with. Now switching pharmacies as fast as possible! They were very unempathetic to this situation and clearly don't need our business.
