  • All-you-can-eat nigiri, rolls, special rolls, appetizers, and desserts. Unlike buffets, everything is brought to the table after you order. There's three rules at Yama. One, sashimi isn't all-you-can-eat. Two, don't waste your rice or you'll pay for it. Three, don't share with your friend who isn't doing AYCE. Do I need to say more? I went to Yama Sushi after running the Las Vegas half marathon with my friends. The restaurant is cozy - you can sit at tables or you can sit at the sushi bar. As mentioned, everything on the menu besides sashimi is fair game for all-you-can-eat. So, in addition to eating over 20 pieces of sushi, I also ate gyoza, pork katsu, miso soup, and green tea ice cream for dessert. The salmon nigiri was excellent. I'd mention and recommend specific rolls, but my table ordered so many that I lost track of what I ate. If the sushi was fixed portion, I'd give it four stars. But, it's absurd to complain when you can order unlimited amounts of both the California rolls and the rolls loaded with crab, several types of fish, eel, and special sauces. Price for dinner AYCE is around $25 plus tip. On the Strip for dinner, that'll only buy you a burger and a soda in some places. The only downside is that it's a bit of a drive to get here from Downtown Vegas. When you add your Uber, you're paying the same as if you just ate dinner in the Bellagio. Do I regret coming here though to satisfy my sushi craving after burning 1,000 calories? Definitely not.
