  • A little more toward 3.5 stars. Ordered the focaccia with a burrata ball (pretty good though it is just a pizza dough rolled out with herbs and oil, not really quite focaccia bread but it was good), a gorgonzola salad (a bit more gorgonzola would have been nice), a fried pizza called Montanara, and the Capricciosa (a bit heavy for our tastes on the ingredients - funny that that would be a complaint huh?). Anyways a fried pizza is interesting though not quite for me. I felt like I was eating a carnival fair concoction though it wasn't oily at all so it seems to have been done well just not my favorite. Finished of with a tiramisu which was a bit dry and kind of so-so. So although I wasn't a huge fan of the pizzas I ordered, it really seems that just my choice was not for me and that if I ordered a little 'safer' I would have thoroughly enjoyed the place. This and Novanta and must try places... Better than Pizza Brutta though they don't have the publicity campaign that brutta has I think. Side note I believe the owner was at the restaurant and although he appeared friendly, he kind of stood around staring out at the dining area the whole time... It was just kind of awkward. Reminded me of Chef Gordon Ramsey's show Kitchen Nightmares... that's obviously not a good thing. Anyways, this place has good pizza... come and get it!
