  • The Doggie Play and Paddle Event was my first time at the complex. What a great idea to let LV doggies take a dip before the end of the summer. My dog loves to swim so after signing up and paying online we were eager to enjoy the festivities. There are 3 weight classes which was great as to not have each class overcrowded. I did see some really tiny dogs in our weight class which I think could possibly be dangerous also small children with dogs is not a smart idea. Check in was easy and quick. There was some confusion at the entrance, a few dogs got out but were quickly rounded up. I did not even stop to see what the vendors were offering because my dog was one busy bee. I do say boo to all the dog owners who didn't keep an eagle eye on their dog and "missed" picking up after them. I could see how all that doggie doo could make it where they don't offer the event anymore. I look forward to next years event and so does Frida.
