| - They are only getting 1 star because I cannot leave it blank!
Emiliano's, even though I love your Sangria Margarita (and truthfully that is the only think I love at your place), it is not worth more than the 1 star I am posting. Why, you may ask? Well here it goes- so it was a busier Friday night and I had a friend in from out of town and since I live right there, we wanted something quick and within walking distance, so we figured, hey, the food is mediocre, but it is super close, so lets just do this. There were a few open seats at the bar, so we take them as we enjoy eating at the bar and were not up for waiting. The bartender who is not as busy as you would think since the restaurant was quite packed, made eye contact and even cleaned up right near us but seemed to not want to wait on us. After that, and then the fact that she waited on a guy who came up after us and then another group of girls, I had to say something to someone as she was clearly not waiting on for whatever reason (we are nice people and good tippers so I do not know WTF her problem was). Since she behaved as she did, I went to the host and asked him if there was someone who could wait on us at the bar because she was not doing so but waiting on everyone who came after us. He got one of the serves to handle us who was FABULOUS... BUT he did not even apologize about his B*tchy bartender who was making our evening quite obnoxious when all we wanted was a quick bite to eat.
The food is bland, the service can suck (if you get this nasty bartender that I am referring to), and it leaves me unimpressed. I will never go back because of the service mishap and the fact that not one person apologized for her behavior and the lack of service that we had received. If Chi Chi's still existed, I would go there before Emiliano's.
