  • This arena is just what this city needs. It is the home for the UNLV Rebels hockey team and the practice facility and office for our new NHL hockey team the Vegas Golden Knights. I have been here quite a few times now and I absolutely love it. This place has been busy every time I've come. The last time they had the Can Am Youth hockey tournament playing in one arena, with the Golden Knights practicing in another arena. The practices are always entertaining and the coaches really drill the team hard. It's no wonder the Knights are doing so well to start this inaugural season. They practice hard!! In between the 2 arenas is the MacKenzie River Pizza Grill & Pub with windows looking down on the arenas on both sides. A great place to grab a bite, have a beer and enjoy the action down below. They even serve poutine at this place. Although I haven't try it yet, I'll be sure to try some in the near future. They also have a concession area, but it has only opened once since I have been there. This place is also home to The Arsenal. They sell a variety of Golden Knights memorabilia and hockey equipment there. It's a great addition to the arena. This arena is close to my house, so I will be coming here whenever I can to watch the Golden Knights practice. They even take the time to sign autographs for the young fans after their practice. This arena is a wonderful addition to our west end. Thank you to all who helped build this great facility.
