I would put Settebello in the top tier of pizza places for us. We've enjoyed just about everything we've tried. To top it off, we're less than a ten minute drive so those urges for pizza can easily be met. The service on our last trip kept our meal from being perfect.
We usually get one of the salads to start and if I don't go hog wild, one pizza is usually good enough for my wife and I still leaving room for dessert. They'll split the salads in two portions for you without request. My wife likes the Insalata Grande ($9) because she loves kalamata olives. The prosciutto platter ($13) is definitely recommended especially with the mozzarella di bufala ($6). The Settebello ($13) is one of our favorite pizzas and we always enjoy the tiramisu ($5.50) for dessert.
What was disappointing on our last visit was our Margherita DOC was brought out literally two minutes after we received our prosciutto platter. Not helping things was that the pie was under-cooked without any charring or blistering so by the time we got to it, things were a soggy room temperature mess. A little common sense with timing from the server and the problem could have been avoided especially when the pizzas only take a minute to fire.
We're hooked and we'll keep coming back. If you come and the service hits the mark, there's no doubt you'll have a great experience.
