  • I've been on a kind of Yonge-Finch/Yonge-Sheppard food crawl the past few days and I'm so glad I decided to dine at this hole in the wall of a restaurant. My friend and I dined in and each ordered the half okonomiyaki with 4 takoyaki. It's not a literal half of an okonomiyaki by the way, just a smaller circle. We waited around 10-15 minutes for our food to get to our table and it was piping hot. One of the 5 things I absolutely LOVE at a restaurant is when food arrives hOt. When I say hot I mean "I want the food to give my mouth second-degree burns" hot. After my tastebuds healed and could start doing their tastebud-tasting I can confidently say that this is the best okonomiyaki I've ever had! Because it's the only okonomiyaki I've ever had! Hah! It really was good though and my friend who has tried Okonomiyaki House thought this was better. The takoyaki was just as hot but the exterior was a little too soft for my liking. Glad I got to try this place and will be back to try their Japanese curry and get more okonomiyaki.
