I am a first time foster parent that took one of the four children in my care to be examined. From the time we walked in the door Melissa who works at the front desk was very friendly. Casey, who was the dental assistant was very patient with my foster child. He allowed her to talk to him about her fears of being at the dentist and he reassured her by being very empathetic. The dentist saw her and he was very upbeat and with a good sense of humor. He explained the process to her and me. She walked out smiling, after getting two toys from the treasure chest, and later admitted that it wasn't as bad as she thought it would be. They really focused on her and showed a genuine interest in making her comfortable, so I didn't hesitate to schedule her six month check up.
