  • Definitely one of my favorite places in the Birkdale area. Not a wine expert, but I do love me some Cabs and Pinot Noir's and they always have very reasonably priced bottles. Don't sleep on the box of wine bottles that are $20 and under.....you can find some goodies in there. Corkscrew definitely has a good ambiance and vibe inside....they did a good job with the limited amount of space they have. Sometimes, I just come here for the awesome people watching, especially when the middle aged couples get a night out away from the kids and you can tell they've been through a couple of bottles....they're usually stumbling to their cars at midnight....a pretty funny sight. The crowd tends to be more of the 25 and up crowd, which works with me. Guys, there are always groups of women here as well, so if you're in the market for what appears to be some nice looking classy ladies, you should be able to do well here...ladies love wine, FACT. Wish I would've known this back in my single days, haha. Overall, the place is awesome.....if they served some heavier dishes (aside from the cheese/hummus & crackers), it would be five stars, hands down
