  • Great find here in Phoenix. They have beautiful products and are located super close to my house. Three stars because they were out of stock of ALL the interchangeable tips (Knitters Pride!) I needed and talked me into some fixed needles. On our DRIVE HOME I found what I needed on Amazon (I would have much preferred to buy from them but needed these quickly before a trip)... I called asking if I could return and they refused. They stated they didn't know if needles had been used (sure, I get that), so they couldn't take them back. HOWEVER, I had literally just left the store and the woman remembered helping me. Pretty disappointing that they couldn't make an exception to keep a new customer. As someone who has worked in small town retail, I feel that in this time of find-anything-on-demand-online, customer service is truly the perk of shopping local. In circumstances like this, you need to be able to bend the rules a little bit to keep a customer happy.
