Based on the other reviews here I scheduled Alan's Air to inspect and service my A/C system (maintenance check up) and repair the damaged fins. I spoke with Alan -- he seems like a great guy who knows his stuff and I was very much looking forward to him doing the work.
Alan referred me to the office manager Marcel to schedule the appointment. I was scheduled for last Tuesday. Marcel called me the day before to tell me they had to reschedule due to a truck issue. I said "no problem" and we rescheduled for that Friday. I called to confirm the appointment the day before and Marcel told me "oh, I was going to call you to cancel." Marcel said they received some last minute A/C breakdown calls that (according to them) take priority over maintenance and repair calls, even though it wasn't that hot out during those days. That policy would have been good to know in advance so I could have avoided losing a week of time.
I asked if they could come over on Saturday -- Marcel said they were booked up. I asked when they could reschedule and was told he had no idea. He told me that if they received break-down calls any appointment I had would get cancelled and pushed back....not a great option to leave me hanging indefinitely. I asked Marcel to let me know by the end of the day (Friday) when they could reschedule my appointment as I needed my A/C serviced/repaired and couldn't / wouldn't wait indefinitely having already waited patiently for a week. Marcel never called back....so much for customer service!
