| - Caesars Palace is one of my favorite Resorts and Casino's on the Las Vegas Strip. It's probably one of the most massive in size, has a wide range of rooms available in many different towers (all designed uniquely), lots of dining and bar options, and the pool area is amazing. Caesars is right in the middle of all of the action on the Las Vegas Strip so walking anywhere for a change in scenery is easy.
My husband and I love it so much here that we decided to return to Vegas and get married here. We stayed in the Augustus Tower on our first stay together in December 2011, the Roman Tower on our wedding recon trip in October 2013, and in the Palace Tower (Petit Suite with King Bed) in April 2014 for our wedding. My parents were in the Octavius Tower for the wedding and I'd have to say, the Octavius is my favorite tower so far. Close second is the Palace Tower. Our cousins stayed in the Nobu Tower for the wedding but we haven't had a chance to get their notes on it yet. Will update my review when I do.
The Forum Shops offer endless shopping and dining options. You could honestly stay at Caesars for 4 days and never have to (or want to) leave! We didn't when we were just there for our wedding April 26, 2014.
Notes from this past trip:
-Trevi at the Forum Shops for an affordable, classy Italian dinner
-Joe's Seafood, Steak and Stone crab for the highest quality, delicious seafood and steak. GET THE STONE CRAB CLAWS! We had our reception here. (See also: Joe's Seafood, Steak and Stone Crab review).
-Seahorse Lounge: We love this bar as a good middle point meeting place. It's very spacious and the bartenders are on point.
-Gordon Ramsay Pub: We had our "Rehearsal" dinner here Friday night and the food was good. There weren't any complaints except that we didn't realize some of the entrée items would be served a la carte (menu should say so if that's the case). Not sure if that was our oversight or what.
Notes on the wedding: (See also: Caesars Palace Wedding Chapel review)
My husband and I decided to get married in Las Vegas and we started our search with where we stayed for our first trip to Las Vegas together; Caesars Palace.
We got our information from Caesars Wedding Services (JoAnn) and did a little further research at other venues (Mandalay Bay, Wynn, Bellagio). We decided to use Caesars Palace as our ceremony venue and we are SO thrilled with our decision.
Caesars Wedding Services have a wide variety of wedding packages available for all types of groups coming to Vegas for nuptials, and we chose the Cleopatra package and the Juno Garden to accommodate 85 guests.
Rebecca Profitt was our coordinator and she was very attentive and friendly, and very timely with email and phone response. She was so on top of everything the day of and we did not have to worry about a single thing. We did opted out of having a rehearsal but because Rebecca was so on top of everything and communicating the details to all parties involved in the ceremony, I did not worry for a second. Our day was so beautiful and perfect and I wouldn't have changed a thing about it.
Honorable mention for Rev. Brian Ross. We got SO many compliments on how great he was at the ceremony and how much everyone enjoyed him. I also really appreciated his playful manner and humor while I was in the midst of taking huge cleansing breaths in the bridal holding room waiting for the ceremony to start.
Thanks for making our wedding day so amazing, Caesars Wedding team!
