There are simply no words! This man gives a concert that is worth every penny! A totally sold out concert, Sir Elton John essentially "killed it!" His songs are timeless and if you are in the baby boomer era or slightly younger, you have certainly heard his music.
The Colosseum was a fabulous venue for this event. The theatrics of his million dollar piano blending in with the digital background was a treat for the eye as was the huge back-screen playing scenes of Philly, diverse couples loving each other, and other digital colorful eye candy. His energy is outta this world and each song got you outta your seat. "Levi" was not a song I was particularly recalling but as he played the piano melody with a rhythm that was irresistible, it became one song for which I was overcome with a need to dance. And I did...
His ability to play the piano with fervor as he does is something I would encourage anyone to see at least once. He played many classics like "I'm still standing, Candle in the Wind, Benny and the Jets" and more. Let me not forget to mention his percussionists. They blended beats to subtle rhythms that made your feet tap if you weren't up dancing in your seat. If I could see him again I would. I urge you to too!
