My cousin took me out to Nobu for my birthday! I have been to the Nobu back in Honolulu and I have to say that this Nobu is way better than the one in Honolulu. The portions are much bigger here.
We got the black cod saikyo miso, salmon spinach, otoro handroll, oyster shots, otoro, signature hamachi kama with jalapeño. And to kick it off, we ended it with a Nobu shaved ice. Our waiter also gave us a complimentary birthday brownie w/ a candle and he also compted the Nobu Shaved Ice. By far, the best dessert I had at any restaurant was the Nobu Shaved ice. Definitely recommend. It's a watermelon type of dessert with a hint of honey dew and with that, you get a cereal like topping you can add!
Nobu will always be my favorite upscale Asian fusion restaurant. It's a dress casual restaurant scene. Lighting is somewhat dim so if you do plan on taking pictures of your food, you might have to brighten it up for editing before posting it to social media.
