I was craving something sweet and not manufactured by a big company. I love independent bakeries and I had memories going to this one as a kid (not sure if it's owned by the same people).
When I looked around, I thought "wow...cheaper than going to Loblaws". I purchased a few croissants and a triple chocolate brownie.
The reason why I give it 4 out of 5...when I ate the croissants a few hours later, the outside was soft. I was expecting it to be crispy and somewhat warm. Yes I could have microwaved it but it's not the same if you know what I mean.
However, the brownie hit every sweet tooth craving I had. Delicious!
This review could have been a 3 out of 5 but the brownie saved it.
