  • Located on the west end of the casino, near the west garage, the Red Rock Lanes are a short walk around a long hallway before you get to the alley. I never realized how expensive they are, even when I didn't have to pay. I recently came here with some co-workers for a mini social outing. We "paid" $5.50 per game plus another $4 for shoe rentals per person. Holy expensive ! I'm used to $1 per game with the same price for shoe rental after midnight or 9pm on certain days at other bowling alleys in town. Granted, it was reimbursed by the company and it was during cosmic bowling, it was still really expensive. We had asked for two lanes for the number of people we had but the cashier refused. In the end, we just all stuck on 1 lane. The screen we had was super faulty. It took us a few minutes to add names in (even if we put 1 or 2 letters per person) because the screen was super uncalibrated and didn't want to work. Even tried asking for help. The person who came was like yeah... these screens are broken. Lol Using the lane was fine. No stuck balls or needing reset on pins. Apparently there's a rule to not allow bumpers for anyone older than the age of 8 and using balls over 8 pounds. Reason why was any use of balls over 8 pounds would damage the bumpers. I don't know about you but I know a lot of people over the age of 8 that has trouble not getting their bowling ball in the gutter. They eventually got to the point where they were fed up and let other people bowl for them. You'd think bumpers be designed better than that. Its not like they were using particularly heavy balls besides myself. All the balls I saw my coworkers were using ranged from 8-10 pounds. Some of my coworkers were hungry so they decided to get some food at the snack bar. They had got a whole pizza and French fries. Originally one wanted to get curly fries but that option was not available. Food didn't take that long. Fries were fairly decent as they were freshly fried. Pizza was the weirdest one of all. The bottom of the pizza had a weird odor. Similar to that of cleaning products. Like they cleaned the pizza pan but not completely washed or just didn't wash after using cleaning products. Luckily no one got sick but we did not eat all of the pizza due to this reason. Ew ! Definitely not the best experience this time at this alley.
